I’m Kate, a writer and sometime stay-at-home mom of three kids, ages 16, 15 and 10. My husband and I met at the University of Missouri School of Journalism, and we’ve been married more than 20 years, most of them good ones. We live in Kansas City.
I’ve been a working journalist for two decades but am currently in graduate school, where I’m studying for my master’s degree in social work.
